Trade deadline: Who's next?

Trade deadline is scheduled to be February 29th this year, so next Monday, and less and less players are available. Many players have already changed teams like Andrew Ladd, Roman Polak and Dion Phaneuf, but there are still some options.

Radim Vrbata, forward for the Vancouver Canucks, is one of the players who hasn't yet been traded. At the age of 34, Vrbata still has some potential and could help a team who need offense and some experience. This year, he has accumulated 12 goals and 24 points in 57 games played. Its not as good as last season, where he had 31 goals and 63 points in 79 games. Vrbata could be an interesting fit for many teams. I thought he would've gone to Chicago, but they traded for Andrew Ladd, just yesterday. I'm interested to see where he lands, if he gets traded.

Secondly, Danish forward Mikkel Boedker from the Coyotes is an interesting fit for multiple teams. Only 26, Boedker has a bright career ahead of him. He is currently in his last year of a 3.75 million dollar deal, so even the teams with a high salary cap could try to work an agreement to get him. He currently has 13 goals and 38 points in 61 games. This young forward is a great fit for a team who needs a young dynamic forward for a long time. I see Boedker with the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit doesn't have a bad defensive squad, but they need to score more goals. I'm sure Boedker would help...

Lastly, 30 year old forward Loui Eriksson of the Boston Bruins is another good fit for many teams. He currently has a great season with 23 goals and 48 points in 61 games this season. The Swedish forward was in the Tyler Seguin trade a few years ago. He is currently in the last year of his contract. Boston might try to get a D-man, because they aren't very strong defensively. Rumors send D Kevin Shattenkirk and D Matt Dumba, but Boston will have to give much more than Eriksson to get those players.

These are three players that have a possibility of getting traded. Will it be today or on the 29th?
